LEslie Martinez (Gloria Martinez)

Leslie Martinez voices the character of Gloria. She is an L.A. -based actor who was born and raised in Los Angeles. She was recently cast in a virtual play for the SheLA Summer Theater Festival. Leslie is an active member of the Latinx Comedy Pachanga, for whom she writes and performs. She is also a co-founder of the digital comedy sketch group, Supervāse Comedy. In addition to being an actor, Leslie is also a writer, director, and producer. She loves cats, coffee, and traveling.

RAtana (DOnkey)

After years of honing her skills as a marketing professional in the corporate world, Ratana decided to follow her passion and become an actor. Her musical theater career began at the age of two, when she performed regularly in front of the fireplace for her parents and stuffed animals. More recently, Ratana has been seen performing improv with people, songs and puppets in groups like Team X, Ghost Party, Musical Madness, and Never Been Fist, and running around the Greater LA area (for fun!). Ratana can be heard as Leonie in “Fire Emblem: Three Houses”, Ishtar in “Fire Emblem Heroes,” RaRa and Kiyomi in “Fallout 76,” Lian Shi in “Dynasty Warriors 9,” Murielle in “What Happened to Little Gregory?”

David Pinion (ELephant)

David Pinion is excited to bring voice to the Elephant in “Electoral Elementary!” Growing up in the suburbs of Washington D.C., David was steeped in political culture from an early age. He wrote and performed sketch comedy in and around D.C. before moving to Los Angeles, where he completed the two-year acting program at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio, learned improv at The Hothouse under the tutelage of John Thies, and spent a few years in L.A.’s 99-seat theatre scene. David starred in the web series “Romantically Hopeless” and “Monster Therapy,” and lent his vocal talents to “Wrigley Friends,” “Journey to the 43rd,” and “Spurs Special Forces,” to name a few. Most recently, he played Sam Laduke in the feature film “Lemon Drop,” now available to rent or own on Amazon.com. David comes to the “Electoral Elementary” podcast with a deep love of radio plays, civics, history, and especially of VOTING!

Manny Cristobal (Arash Taheri/Pete Blathers, Coach Blount)

Manny Cristobal began his voiceover training in late 2013, starting commercially and gradually working his way towards animation and interactive performing. Since 2018, he’s been lending his voice to independent creators and business owners alike, and relishes the challenge of providing clients with the vocal performance needed for their project. When he isn’t honing his chops, he enjoys sketching and sculpting and occasionally teasing his chihuahua (‘occasionally’ in this case meaning ‘relentlessly’).

Victoria Scaramucci (Ms. Carroll/ Ms. Tinkerbaum/ Extras)

Victoria Scaramucci is an ethnically ambiguous sassmaster based in Los Angeles, California. As a Scaramucci, she has an affinity for show business as her life is a dark comedy. She's a cross between Eva Longoria and Mindy Kaling. Victoria is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California where she earned her BA in Theatre with an Acting Concentration. She supplied the adult female voices on “Electoral Elementary” and has a passion for working with and educating kids. Her next performance project will be “The Number is Nine,” which you can find more details about on IMDB. HEather Muriel NGUYEN (ELLIE MENG)

Heather Muriel Nguyen is an actor-writer-director who creates films about fiercely honest and relatable Queer and Trans Women of Color navigating love and healing from trauma together. She loves starry-eyed, enthusiastic characters and brings Ellie to life with brightness and charm!

COREY GADDIS (CLYDE Turner)

Meet Corey Gaddis, all the way from the East Coast- reppin' - NY by way of Connecticut. Corey is a creator who is passionate about our youth. This ex-teacher turned TV Executive leaped at the opportunity to participate in this project, one he wishes he had as a tool in his classroom.

Corey’s pursuit of the arts began in high school, where he studied at the Regional Center for the Arts (RCA) in Bridgeport, CT and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in Manhattan, NY. Following graduation, he found himself attending Ohio University, where he would major in playwriting. After commencement at Ohio University, he set out for Los Angeles, where he continues to act, write and create content. Corey is committed to amplifying marginalized voices, as everyone deserves to be heard!

Grady James Welch is an actor and director in Los Angeles. He's been a regular performer at The Second City Hollywood, The Pack Theater, and iO West. He is the lead singer of the heavy metal sketch comedy group Hell Kross. Grady encourages you to vote in your local elections!

Jonathan Regier (Fred Tomlinson)

Jonathan Regier is an actor based in Los Angeles who enjoys telling meaningful stories and collaborating with other great artists. Recently, he appeared on “Better Call Saul” and Taylor Swift’s “The Man”, and his voice can be heard as DJ MacCoy on “Dance Central 3.” And during quarantine, Jonathan has been learning how to record and produce new music, which he hopes to begin releasing by the end of the year. www.jonathanregier.com

ALLY Kloster (Rickie Wall)

Allyson Kloster is an actor and comedian based in Los Angeles. She is the co-founder of digital sketch team Supervāse Comedy and a writer-performer on Pack Theater’s house sketch team FEVER. She is secretly still in the second grade.

ALlishia CLAressa Knotts (Mimi Tran/ Harriet WoodsWorth)

Allishia Knotts is thrilled to be a part of “Electoral Elementary!” She is an actor as well as an advocate for social justice. Allishia was born and raised in North Carolina. She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Second City Hollywood. When Allishia is not telling stories, she is a disaster relief volunteer with the American Red Cross. Allishia is also a pediatric cancer survivor and gives her time to the American Cancer Society when she can.

Isa Ghaffari ( Stevie B/ Marie)

Isa Ghaffari is an editor and storyteller based in Los Angeles. After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a bachelor's degree in Film and TV, Isa worked as a VFX artist, compositor, and editor at a number of post-production houses and production studios in New York City. She was also a member of the New Museum's Artists Incubator program, where she worked on a number of interactive virtual reality experiences aimed towards educating students on sexual and gender identity. Isa moved to Los Angeles (her hometown) in 2018, where she began working at Dreamworks Animation Studio as an assistant animatic editor on several TV shows (including “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power”). She currently works at Netflix Animation as an assistant editor on an upcoming animated feature film.

Tanner Worth (Mr. Rutledge/Extras)

Tanner Worth is an amateur voice actor who only works when his friends ask.  He moved to Los Angeles in 2004 as an aspiring actor but quickly learned he had a face for radio.  With only a few professional credits to his name, he is decidedly better at being a husband, father, and friend.  Tanner loves all things sports and music, and he's pretty good at drinking beer.  It was an honor to get to work with close friend Jessica Marshall on this inspiring project.  VOTE!!!

Jessica Marshall currently draws storyboards for animated TV shows at Dreamworks.  After hanging out in the story department for animated TV/Film for the last 16 years, Jessica has become more passionate about telling stories that engage as well as inform kids.  She is an avid consumer of news and political podcasts, which has opened her eyes to a lack of education when it comes to the subject of civics.  How our government works and how we can contribute as a citizenry should be common knowledge in a healthy democracy.  She plans to start healing ours by launching “Electoral Elementary.”

Lauren Gauthier (writer)

Lauren Gauthier moved from her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina to pursue an education in film production in Los Angeles, California. After graduation, she eventually stumbled into the animation industry and fell in love. She's been working in animation production for six years where she also rekindled her love of writing. She has now written for both live action kids' television and this very podcast! 

ALEx Button (Sound Editor/Design)

Alex Button is a sound editor, mixer, and designer based in Los Angeles. She currently works in podcast production. Alex pursued her interests in sound technology by receiving her undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Music Recording from the University of Southern California. In her free time, she enjoys playing roller derby, watching B-movies, and listening to podcasts.

KElly Farrell (Story By)

Kelly Farrell was born and raised in Northern California and made her way to Los Angeles in 2010. In 2014, Kelly left her career in education for the network sitcom world and, thanks to “Electoral Elementary,” has thoroughly enjoyed combining her passion for teaching civics with her love of telling stories.

Libby WARD (songwriter/ lyricist)

Andrew Weiss (Songwriter/COmposer)

Andrew Weiss is a songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and producer based in New York. Self-taught on the many instruments he knows how to play, his journey sprouted from early exposure to The Beatles. He began picking guitar and writing songs at only seven years old, and he would later play in various bands throughout his youth. A Long Island native, Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in Music Theory and Composition at New York University. During his studies, he wrote music for films and various ensembles. In 2017, Andrew played drums in the pit band for PITS: The Unauthorized Holes Musical during its three-month residency at the People's Improv Theatre in New York City. He also does session work from his home studio, playing drums, guitar, and bass for local New York artists, as well as for Italian singer/songwriter Greta Mariani. Andrew currently fronts his own band, Andrew Weiss and Friends, who released their sophomore album “The Golden Age of Love & Chemistry” in March 2020.
